One of my favorite restaurants here in Cambodia is called Viva Mexico located in Siem Reap. I usually go to specialty restaurants like this one whenever my palate craves for a different tastes other than the local cuisines. Viva Mexico as the name implies specializes in Mexican cuisines but they also serve local Cambodian dishes.
The first time I have eaten there was a year ago I think when I ordered porkchops. Their porkchop dish cost $5 and consists of a small serving of rice, salad and two medium slabs of porkchops (grilled).
Another favorite of mine is the Breakfast Burrito which is actually available for the whole day. It has scrambled eggs, mashed potato and mozarella cheese wrapped in a burrito wrapper with salsa dip. It’s like a Mexican breakfast on the go don’t you think. I love it and it’s also not expensive, it’s just $2 per serving. It’s quite filling and tasty as well.
And to complete one’s meal, I always eat sweets after a meal. The last time I was there I ordered chocolate ice cream shake (cost $2.25)which is nice too.
In case you’re wondering where to find this restaurant, it’s located near the Old Market.
