On my last visit to Victory Monument I noticed huge groups of people waiting outside a local restaurant called Eat Am Are. I thought that it might be that good that people don’t mind waiting outside for a few minutes just to be able to eat at this restaurant. I also noticed that there are three branches of this restaurant in the same area. One in Fashion Mall, the other one in Major Cineplex and the last one just in front of Major Cineplex and all of them are packed with people.
So I took the chance to give it a try and now I know why locals (and some tourists too) don’t mind waiting just to be able to eat at this restaurant. We were so lucky that we only waited for a few minutes because we went there at around 4PM avoiding the huge crowds during lunch or dinner time.
Here are some pictures I took on my last visit to Eat Am Are:

There are many choices when it comes to meat, side dishes, drinks etc. There are also combination menus where you could choose between two kinds of meat on one dish. Most of the expensive dishes are beef. Most of the chicken, pork and seafood choices are below 200 baht.
You also have the option to choose your side dishes or add some more for an additional fee.
The servings are huge! The meats are tender and well cooked. The bread is so delicious. It is soft on the inside and crusty outside. The coleslaw is ok, the flavors of the dressing seems bland for me but nevertheless it complimented well my food.
Great food without burning a hole in your pocket. I’ll definitely check it out again on my next visit to this area.
