Since I have decided to make sure that I keep this food blog of mine updated, I have decided to allot a budget for some nice dinner at least once a week. and while I was at Phnom Penh looking for places to have dinner at, I chanced upon Fish & Co along Sisowath Quay.
Luckily, Fish & Co had a promotion that time wherein if your total bill amounted to $25 then you’ll have a free medium sized pizza (seafood and vegetables). So me any my friend were just planning to have fish and chips for dinner but since the nice waitress told us about the promotion, we changed our order instead to seafood platter.
The seafood platter has a large strip of fish fillet, some tiger prawns, mussels and calamari with french fries (chips) and paella. So how did it taste? I love it, especially the calamari. The sauce complimented well the flavors of the calamari. I just wished though that there’re more paella than fries. As an Asian, I’m used to eating lots of rice.
The prawn tasted just ok. I also love the mussels and the fish (not sure what kind of fish they served though). The serving is good for two people but I think if I could eat all of that food just by myself (lol!).
We also ordered a chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream which was the best decision I’ve ever done for that day (LOL!) The cake is just like a brownie but shaped like a cupcake. The cake is crusty on the outside and soft, moist and warm on the inside which was perfectly complimented by the cold and sweet vanilla ice cream.
It’s d@mn good.
